This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include the following:

  • Work with support groups to help them understand vulnerability results, providing guidance on the remediation of failing threats, and evaluating false positives
  • Maintenance of documents, procedures, reporting, and stakeholder communications
  • Analyze and validate scan/assessment results communicated to clients through reporting and results-review meetings
  • Provide support groups with remediation recommendations and guidance, up to and including remediation tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate validation scans activities to confirm remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Work with metrics to help analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation
  • Track remediation work consistently in order to evidence improvements to program and closure of vulnerabilities
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of the scanning and vulnerability remediation processes
  • Participate in Proof of Concept activities of various vulnerability scanning/remediation tools

Why you? 

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Basic IT knowledge (not necessarily deep experience in any technology)
  • At least basic knowledge of Security Infrastructure and Risk assessment  
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools
  • Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and the ability to judge their severity and impact to the business
  • English skills (min. B2 level)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Shows problem solving and supportive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with Qualys VM or other Vulnerability Scanning Software, RSA Archer, Kenna Security and ServiceNow
  • Certificates: GIAC Security Essentials certification/Security+
