We are looking for Release and Compliance Expert, dynamic and tactical individual who will be a part of the world’s largest Consumer Healthcare organisation that helps millions of people to do more, feel better and live longer with numerous over the counter brands such as: Zentrum, Sensodyne, Panadol, Voltaren etc.

As an Release and Compliance Expert – Consumer Relations at GSK Consumer Healthcare, you will play a key role in managing, planning, scheduling and controlling a product build through different stages and environments while ensuring that it is aligned to the internal governance and compliance expectations.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include the following:  

Release Strategy and Planning - 35% 

  • Define the scope and contents of each release with the business product owner and tech product manager, ensuring that agreement and commitment is provided by internal DevOps teams based on their capacity to effectively support its delivery.
  • As part of the release undertake impact assessments.
  • Liaise with relevant DevOps, Product and Business stakeholders to ensure that adequate.

Release Delivery - 45% 

  • Coordinating the release of new functionality across sites, subsequent to successful testing by our Agile development teams.
  • Ensure the Releases of the Tech Product are executed using processes and tools compliant with Computerized System Validation principles. 
  • Liaise with the product team throughout their discovery cycle and ensure clarity of requirements for new features and their appropriateness for release. 
  • Manage any risk to the release and in conjunction with the development teams, mitigate appropriately. 
  • Measure and monitor agreed team KPIs to ensure application releases are delivered as per expectations.
  • Responsible (as self-contributor or by delivering through others) for all activities related to Compliance and Governance of the product and team.  
Process Improvements – 20% 

  • Continuously review the existing release process for value-adding enhancements and work with key stakeholders to help optimize the process.  

  

Why you?


Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • 5 years of professional experience in release management as a service manager, release manager, IT consultant etc.  
  • Experience in managing and supporting Tech / IT products that run GxP or other regulated processes
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Experience liaising with and influencing stakeholders across a variant of seniority levels Management/leadership experience is key, we are open to speak to Project / People / Process managers/team leads
  • A keen eye and attention to detail
  • Experience in working with Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Technical experience, with an understanding of software development / testing
  • Experience with training and communicating new ideas / processes
