The archivist will maintain archiving systems and act as a service provider/consultant to business users. As the archiving Business System Owner (BSO), the archivist will also be responsible for providing records in support of audits and legal requirements.
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career.
These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Ensure delivery of the archive service (including processing and retrieval of records) to business teams, meeting legal, regulatory and business requirements.
- Ensure electronic archives are managed and operated in compliance with policies and operating procedures, standards and external regulations, partnering with cross-functional business areas, IT and infrastructure groups.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of business processes and objectives through effective working relationships with relevant business teams.
- Act as the named GxP Archivist during internal audits and external inspections, including resolving findings.
- Provide insights into the business requirements for the new ARMS (Archiving & Records Management System) and oversee/facilitate the implementation of the system.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Pharmaceutical, consumer goods and/or product manufacturing industry experience preferable.
- Awareness of new developments in archiving and relevant regulations, including practices pertaining to GxP data.
- At least 2 year of records management, archiving, document and/ or content management experience.
- Experience in properly maintaining archived records for audits and respond to audit requests within SLA timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience in properly maintaining archived records for audits and respond to audit requests within SLA timeframes.
- Degree in Science, Computer Science, or Information/Records Mgt. or comparable field of study.
- At least 1 years of IT/IM, data management, and/or compliance experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced negotiating/influencing skills.
