The Big Data Engineer is required to convert business requirements into innovative products which realize tangible Value for the CH Supply Chain. Able to understand technical requirements for subsequent delivery in a Big Data platform environment, the candidate must demonstrate specialization real time data processing technology & implementation of large-scale machine learning.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining frameworks like large-scale data processing systems and databases.

These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Business & Software Problem Solving:
- Problem Solving Analysis around Big Data & SAP
- Business Support Activities & Lifecycle of the applications
- Development and maintenance of Deep.BI platform infrastructure
- Continuous improvement of operation processes and procedures, focusing on engineering approach and automation tools development
- Building Big Data pipelines
- Building Data transformation and Reporting pipelines
- Product Evolution:
- Support Proof of Concept with new technology
- Benchmark new technology with existing landscape
- Propose evolution to next steps, & implement the new solution
- Experience of delivering projects and products in agile way
- Building and maintaining high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable distributed software systems
- Experience collaborating and working in a software development environment
- Selecting and integrating any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
- Implementing / improve ETL process
- Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes
- Defining data retention policies
- Support & track any cyber security issues

- Experience around Project (Agile) & support Activities (ITIL)
Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work across teams and engaging and influencing stakeholders
- Ability to work with global teams
- Good knowledge of either JSON, Scala, Spark, Python / C++ etc
