Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cooperation with development team working on a cloud native, java based solution, utilizing K8S and AWS services.
- Deployment, configuration and maintenance of AWS Services
- Leverage DevOps tools to build continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
- Configure and integrate monitoring and metrics tools
- Configure, maintain and monitor security tools to ensure maximum availability and reliability
- Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into cloud applications
- Working in Agile (Scrum) methodology
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years experience in DevOps
- Experience with at AWS and Kubernetes
- Understanding of Linux environment and networking (hands-on experience)
- Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage) and containers
- Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles (twelve-factor applications)
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Good command of English
- Willingness to travel and work on site for up to 3 months onboarding
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with automation: BOSH, Terraform, Concourse, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker
- Experience with monitoring and logging: Splunk, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, Newrelic, Dynatrace
- AWS certificates
- AWS Services- EKS, VPC, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, ECR, CodeCommit, IAM, Route53, AWS Rekognition
We collaborate with customers from the USA (Chicago, Dallas), Germany, Italy, UK, and the Netherlands. Working in projects for those companies enables on-site engagement in their offices, which can take from 2-3 days up to 3 month.
SALARY
We provide a competitive salary :
9 000 – 16 000 PLN gross/month - while working in Poland
and
12 100 – 21 600 PLN gross/month + the allowance which depends on the project location - while working on-site.
