Together with our client, a leading company in the automotive industry, we are building enterprise cloud solution focused on machine learning and AI. Our responsibility is to help and operate closely with data scientists and data engineers to streamline their work, improve stability and security of their solutions and speed up the process of implementing changes.

Responsibilities:

• Deploying and configuring Cloud Native and Data platforms in cloud environment
• Leverage DevOps tools to build continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
• Configure and integrate monitoring and metrics tools
• Configure, maintain and monitor security tools to ensure maximum availability and reliability
• Integrating various services (databases, storage, APIs) into cloud applications
• Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers
• Active participation in scrum ceremonies and on-site PI plannings (quarterly in client’s office in Germany)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Operations or Systems Administration
• 4+ years of experience with Azure
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably in Python
• Experience with automation: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker
• Understanding of Linux environment and networking (hands-on experience)
• Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software defined networks, software defined storage) and containers
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Big Data platforms, eg: Cloudera, Databricks
• Experience with monitoring and logging: Splunk, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Logstash, Newrelic
• Good command of German
