We are top Cracow-based Polish-British software development company specializing in building advanced systems for the online sports betting industry in Europe, USA and Australia with more than 170 software engineers on board.

We are renowned for intelligently designed high-tech products. We are experienced in planning and implementing successful user journeys through various online experiences great and small, and across a variety of platforms, from huge commercial websites to small and targeted apps.
AFTER HOURS
In addition to the standard chill-out room with PS4, you can always take a sit on sun lounger in the garden on the roof and wind down looking Krakow beautiful panorama or grab pizza after work.
We also regularly organize Grand Parade Betting League, in which we are predicting football scores to get extra prizes. In Gamification you can have fun with tasks during and after working hours. We take care of improving our skills by organizing internal trainings, open meetups, conferences and workshops. Not to mention about Multisport and Enel-med, obviously it is a must-have.
Your role in the team
- You own architectural solutions for Sportsbook, which defines the path from As-Is to To-Be architecture
- Contribute to the Target Architecture, to continuously keep improving the architectural landscape
- You define architectural approaches for and in cooperation with developers and guide and oversee the implementation
- You work with business stakeholders on high level requirements, and explain how the architecture supports them
- You contribute to high level estimations for new initiatives
- You act as a point of escalation for architecture and development decisions within WH Sportsbook delivery teams and ensure decisions are made, traceable and well justified, with a pragmatic approach considering business and technical requirements
- You own non-functional requirements for your solutions and ensure the relevant delivery roles work together to meet them
- You work with application support functions like monitoring and live support to ensure applications are manageable in a live environment
Skills needed
- You’re only comfortable working within a strict architecture framework
- You’re not comfortable weighing technical requirements against business targets
- You think architects should live in an ivory tower and communicate through UML only
- You like being challenged - by tasks, people, timelines
- Have a healthy business focus while keeping the tech stack on the leading edge - avoiding the bleeding edge
- You like working in an enterprise environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of technology, process and skills for the teams
- Have a pro-active, can-do attitude and like to help wherever your skills can bring us forward
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- 7 or more years of experience in web development, at least 3 in senior roles
- You love to develop high performance web applications and pass on your knowledge to others
- You’re passionate about the non-functional aspects of web development, like maintainability, security, scalability, etc
- Experience with systems handling high numbers of transactions with low latency requirements
- Tech experience: JavaScript (ES5+6), Node.js, React, Redux, Git, Web Security (OWASP), SDLC
- Experience with agile development practices and how architecture fits in
- Good in creating networks with developers, business, operations support, and the architecture community
- Excellent communication skills; enjoying explaining technical concepts to technical and less technical people
