Team and the project 

We’re creating brand new team to cover work on existing and new iOS Native apps as well as building a data layer for a range of Gaming and Sportsbook mobile apps to assure data consistency as well as  functional and operational consistency across all the Gaming and Sportsbook products at William Hill. The new team would consist of iOS engineers, both developers and testers, and backend (NodeJS) engineers, so the team would be really cross-functional to own mobile iOS apps development end-to-end. Joining the team you’d have great opportunity to take part in building new team and to have real impact on the mobile iOS technology at William Hill.

Skills needed  

  • Experience in test automation and testing frameworks (e.g., Java + JUnit) 
  • Experience in manual testing (more specific) 
  • Experience in preparing and implementing test scenarios 
  • General knowledge of software QA concepts, methodologies and processes 
  • Basic experience with GIT 
  • Knowledge of or experience with programming in Swift 
  • Knowledge of or experience with test automation in Swift (XCTest) 
  • Knowledge of Robot Patter (or similar, e.g.: Page Object Pattern) 
  • Experience with proxy/debugging tool (Charles, Proxyman) for HTTP calls 
  • Knowledge of or experience in CI/CD 
  • Experience in testing mobile apps (preferably iOS) 

Nice to have 

  • Experience of working in Agile/Scrum methodology 
  • Experience in testing APIs 
  • Experience in non-functional testing (e.g., Performance, Exploratory)
