    As a Tech Lead, you will shape the future of intelligent devices. You will work on the forefront of innovation, fostering developer ecosystems for emerging AI capabilities, leveraging on-device models and empowering AI developers in education space.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with ChromeOS machine intelligence and On-Device Machine Learning (ODML) teams on delivering on-device models for Android large screen and desktop.
    • Take full ownership of enabling AI capabilities for ChromeOS App developers.
    • Transform education by enabling App developers with AI capabilities customized to the specific education needs.
    • Work with cross-functional teams including software developers, machine learning research scientists, product managers, and UX designers to understand their needs and pain points.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools. Evaluate potential impact and relevance to developer productivity.


    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, with an emphasis on ML/AI, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).


    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in performance engineering, embedded software, or hardware acceleration of ML and graphics.
    • Experience with Android system.
    • Understanding of developer ecosystems, product development, and customer needs.
    • Track record of deploying AI/ML models and algorithms.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills to take on complex AI/ML challenges.
