    About the job

    The Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and operations organization is a global team that serves as the strategy, operations and product commercialization partner to the sales and cross-functional leadership, and their respective organizations.


    In this role, you will be responsible to drive business growth through innovative go-to-market strategies. You will lead the launch and optimization of Ads technology. You will optimize processes and infrastructure for maximum efficiency and impact. You will partner with the region's cross-functional leadership and drive data-driven decision making, provide business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution. You will help teams collaborate more efficiently, drive business and implement new initiatives. You will focus on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future growth initiatives.


    The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.


    Responsibilities

    • Build relationships with key stakeholders and functions, across markets within Google's Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)/Alpine organization, foster collaboration, alignment, and share sense of purpose ensuring alignment within functions/global objectives tailoring approaches to each market.
    • Structure/lead large-scale operational improvement initiatives from start to finish.
    • Identify growth opportunities/threats, develop strategic plans to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks, while establishing efficient processes/workflows. Analyze key performance indicators, identify improvement areas, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Product) to ensure implementation of regional strategies.
    • Develop comprehensive annual business plans for the CEE region, set ambitious goals and outline strategies for achieving them. Identify and address performance gaps, taking corrective actions to ensure goals are met or exceeded.


    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4 years of experience working in management consulting or project management, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.


    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.
    • Ability to grow in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
    • Excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills, with the ability to write well and translate complex issues in a simple way.
    • Excellent influencing and executive stakeholder management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills.
    • Passion for the internet who can work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experience.
