As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google Cloud's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. You will anticipate our customer needs and be empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate.     Responsibilities

    • Scope and define end-to-end workflows in the Cloud AI area.
    • Build backend/back-office and UI solutions for all aspects of our mission.
    • Develop or adapt an internal data management platform for the datasets used across Cloud AI.
    • Manage relationships with internal teams who are consuming the data and adapt to their changing requirements over time.


    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
    • 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, or C++ codebases.
    • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.


    Preferred qualifications:

    • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
    • Experience developing accessible technologies.
    • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
