Job description
We are looking for a Senior Backend/Full Stack Engineer to join GogoApps. This role will be partially committed to internal projects and improvements, and partially to delivering client projects. If you have excellent programming skills, an ambition to lead, and a passion for developing applications, we would like to meet you!
● Duties ●
- Serve as a mentor and team leader for backend and front end engineers around the company
- Estimate the time and effort of a wide variety of customer projects, including web applications, iOS apps, or other software
- Be ready to jump into a variety of specific projects as an individual contributor and immediately add value
- Conduct technical interviews with prospective engineers
- Participate and be a technical leader for the entire application lifecycle, focusing on architecting, coding and debugging
- Create for server-side web application logic and integrate the work of front-end web developers
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Ensure system consistency and improve user experience
- Implement user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integrate of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Introduce new technologies to legacy applications per customer requirements
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
● Skills/Requirements ●
- Over 4 years of experience as a full stack developer
- Experience with at least one of the frontend JS framework (React, Angular, Vue)
- Experience with at least one of the backend technologies (PHP, RoR, Python, Node)
- Knowledge about web related topics (web standards, web development approaches)
- Strong knowledge about design patterns and software architectural topics
- Knowledge about relational Dis
- Knowledge about noSQL DBs
- Knowledge about security topics
- Experience with unit testing, e2e testing, integration testing
- Experience with GIT
- Being familiar with Scrum methodology
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about optimizations processes
- Knowledge about distributed systems
- Experience with Linux environments
- Experience with cloud services (Amazon's solutions, Azure)
