Wanna create and develop Linux platform development for ECU used in one of the premium German automotive brands? We help our customer develop their custom Linux distribution with a focus on a secure boot of the system. Being part of our team, you will optimize boot procedures, configure services and test the boot-up procedure. You will make daily use of your C, C++ and python expertise. You will also have a chance to work in an international environment, with daily work with architects, safety managers, requirements engineers, and test teams. If this sounds like you, get in touch!
Requirements
- Linux experience in user space
- Basic experience in Linux kernel and bootloader
- Experience with Python, bash, and pytest
- Knowledge of C/C++
- Experience in using relevant software development and debugging tools such as Git, JIRA
- Analytic working style and strong communication skills
- At least good English skills
- Expertise in automated test case development for automotive software systems nice to have
Responsibilities
- Development and testing of custom Linux distribution
- Solving issues with the full boot process.
- Increasing the quality of boot procedures
- Configuration and tailoring of bootloader configurations as well as secure boot mechanism
- Working directly on the target platform
- Development and implementation of automated test cases for acceptance tests in Python for Linux distribution according to the architectural design documents
- Integration of the BAT test cases into the customer’s CI/CD infrastructure
