GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Software Integrator (C++/Linux) to join our engineering team.

In our projects, we are focusing on the design and development of middleware components for a Linux-based operating system in connected cars. We develop software that pulls all strings together, communicates with cloud services, and implements innovative customer functions inside the car. We work in areas of remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.

As part of our dynamic and agile team, you will ensure robustness, performance, and security aspects within the software design.

We are looking for talented engineers to join our team in the development of forward-looking solutions for highly interconnected automotive software features – now we are especially looking for a Senior Software Integrator for C++/Linux software.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven project experience in software engineering
• Experience with integrating/porting complex projects to multiple baselines and platforms
• Expert knowledge of CMake
• Expert knowledge in Git (log, Cherry-pick, rebase, Tag)
• Good knowledge of C++ (14/17/20 standard)
• Experience with Python, Pytest
• Experience with embedded Linux
• Experience with Github, Gerrit, Jenkins
• Very good English communication skills (verbal and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Yocto/Bitbake, Zuul

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, integrate, and develop Linux-based embedded software
• Take part in customer requirements analysis
• Contribute to the release planning discussions
• Participate in the analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the complex parts of automotive software system
• Cooperate with other teams to follow up issue resolution
• Participate in strategic decisions together with the project management
• Partipicate in Agil Scrum processes and team meetings
