Job description

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Developer to one of our team collaborating with one of the biggest companies in the flow measurement industry. We do a project for our client who is a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services, and solutions for industrial process engineering. We provide process solutions for flow, level, pressure, analytics, temperature, recording and digital communications, optimizing processes in terms of economic efficiency, safety, and environmental impact. Requirements

Bachelor or Master in Electronics and Telecommunication with work experience in this area
Deeply embedded software development
Knowledge of microcontrollers and their peripherals (DMA, SPI, I2C, SCI, DTC, IRQ, UART)
Experience with ARM Cortex-A and M, MSP430, Renesas RX or similar processors beneficial
Usage of low-level Real-Time operating systems (e.g. FreeRtos)
Development of time-critical applications (e.g. interrupts with less than 10uS execution time)
Programming skills in functional safety and security environment (MISRA coding guidelines, no usage of dynamic memory allocation, awareness of stack issues)
Experience in Embedded C/C++ and corresponding toolchain (Visual Studio, IAR)
Good communication skills in English
Ideally networking skills (Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wifi, GSM/LTE,…)
Ideally knowledge in industrial fieldbuses, particularly Profibus/Profinet
Knowledge in software platform design with UML
Team oriented
High flexibility concerning working on different task & focus on quality
Create own ideas

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing source code, in programming language C/C++
Finding route cause of race conditions, deadlocks, stack overflows
Debugging in connection with an oscilloscope to determine controller outputs and gpio behavior
Working with limited resources and low performance (e.g. 100KB RAM, 4 MB Flash, 20 Mhz clocks in low power applications)
Direct cooperation with a team of engineers on client-side
Development of new features & support existing functionality
Development, debugging & scripting
Working with real hardware on a daily basis
