We are looking for a Configuration Manager/Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Wroclaw. Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Software/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, a degree in a similar technical area or relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux/BIOS/Virtualization on the administration level
- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration (e.g. GIT, Perforce, SVN; QuickBuild, Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Setup/configuration abilities of computer HW
- Administration of computer networks, management of networking equipment
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery/Continuous deployment
- Strong knowledge of SW Configuration Management aspects, e.g.: release management, build system integrity
- HW/SW troubleshooting skills
- Basic Python and scripting skills
- Familiar with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V)
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Agile methodology principles
- Good English skills
Nice to have
- Public and private Cloud solutions (OpenStack, AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of the Rack Scale Design system
- Experience working with storage solutions, current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- Experience managing/driving large Data Migrations
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the development and test environment. Setting up new test equipment/configurations
- Provide SW Configuration Management administration to Dev teams
- Set up and configure SW build systems for individual projects, manage and control the SW build procedure
- Work closely with Dev teams on all SCM aspects in projects
- Work out and maintain SW builds standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Regression testing and features testing of internal builds prepared during code development
- Creating appropriate documentation in English
- Direct cooperation with Customer PM (contact point) or Customer Representative
- Communication regularly on status and progress
- Reporting all performed activities in the ALM tracker
