Job description
We are looking for a Junior Manual QA to join our team in Kraków. One of the largest B2B electronic payment networks is integrating with several other Banking products belonging to our Client.
From technologies perspective, the old core is written on Java 7, reporting engine is Crystal Reports (to be moved to Jasper); Front End is a mixture of Dojo and J2EE – the expectation is to bring this to the stack outlined below in the requirements.

There are business trips to Client location (USA, East coast) and there are always many challenges and opportunities to grow.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in software testing (enterprise applications are a plus)
- Experience in QA methodologies, processes and tools
- Understanding of quality assurance and product quality
- Ability to perform tests against Web applications, both front-end UI as well as back-end databases, application servers, and services
- Knowledge in testing specifications and test plans writing
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Basic experience with tools like Eclipse, Selenium, Defect tracking tools
- Good English skills (writing and speaking)
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual functional testing and regression testing
- Create/track/retest software defects in the designated defect tracking tool
- Provide daily reporting (Defect Tracking, regular reports preparation, test evaluation summary report preparation)
- Interact with distributed team and/or customer
- Participate as a full team member in all planning and estimation practices
