Job description

We are looking for a Junior Big Data Engineer to join our team in Krakow. This is a completely new project created from scratch, led by an experienced architect located in the US, while the whole development team will be working from Krakow. Our goal is to build a new central data analytics environment for their internal use. It's a great moment to learn technologies ex. Spark, Kafka or Cloud platform. Requirements

Knowledge of any object-oriented programming language (ideally Python)
Basic experience of working with data (SQL)
Very good English
Strong interest in Big Data/Data Analytics
Desire to gain experience with developing data analytics software

Responsibilities

Implement a Data Analytics/Real-time data platform as part of an Agile team
Ensure that code meets the quality standards
