Job description
We are looking for a Junior Big Data Developer to join our team in Kraków. This is a completely new project created from scratch, led by an experienced architect located in the US, while the whole development team will be working from Krakow. Our client wants to build a new central data analytics environment for their internal use. The main implementation language will be Python (pySpark and Pandas will be useful). We propose an excellent opportunity to learn technologies such as Apache Spark, Message brokers (Apache Kafka), Cloud platform, REST APIs and File partitioning. Requirements
- Knowledge of any object-oriented programming language (ideally Python)
- Basic experience of working with data (SQL)
- English level: Upper-Intermediate and higher
- Strong interest in Big Data/Data Analytics
- Desire to gain experience with developing data analytics software
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon Web Service (AWS), Azure, REST
