We are looking for DevOps Engineer to join the project of our Client which is a major provider of software and services in the clinical trials & healthcare domains. The project goal is to build a new web application that will allow users to manage documents submitted to the ethical review board over the course of the clinical trial. The new system will allow the business to scale, match organizational needs and fit the market demand by utilizing the cutting-edge cloud-based solutions as well as modern UI/UX practices. Requirements
- Experience in Automation/Configuration Management, such as GIT, Bitbucket
- Previous experience with cloud services, such as Azure and Azure DevOps
- Experience in a scripting language such as Windows PowerShell, Python, etc
- Experience with deploying and managing environments for SaaS solutions (Azure)
- Strong background in Windows Administration (Linux)
- Knowledge of Software development methodology
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET, Transact-SQL, SQL Server 2008+, Web Services
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-on, always-available service
- Understanding of the Infrastructure (DNS/Firewalls/Load Balancers/VMs, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills to convey build and deployment issues
- Excellent documentation skills to document updates to the build and deployment process, changes to internal servers, etc
- At least good English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Bamboo and Octopus
- Experience with AWS
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain configurations for all environments
- Working with Continuous Integration to resolve development and QA teams’ needs
- Create, update, and maintain fully automated deployment scripts
- Configure cloud services for scaling and resolving performance issues
- Support the development process with any kind of help: source control, equipment. maintenance, integration between systems and software, notifications, etc
- Release process handling, communication with the client representatives
