BSP Developer (C, Linux Kernel, Android HAL) IRC228232

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced BSP Developer to join our engineering team.

This autmotive – related project is just entering the production phase and moving to maitenance. It is a Linux + Android platform supporting IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Good knowledge of C landuage (C++ nice to have)
• Serial Peripherals (I2C, SPI, UART)
• Linux Kernel Development
• Virtualization, Virt I/O
• Experience with Yocto Linux, Hypervisor, RTOS
• Good experience with Android vehicle HAL and Android vehicle network services
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging of complex issues, good analytical skills
• Good understanding of concepts: scheduling, inter-process communication, interrupts, etc.
• Good communication skills, at least upper-intermediate spoken and writing English

Responsibilities:

• Kernel programming
• Board bring-up
• Linux device tree configuration, Linux device drivers development
• Android HAL development
• Virtualization experience, virtio based device drivers development, hypervisor integration
• C language programming
• Take part in the system requirements and customer requests analysis
• Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up product development and integration with other solutions
