Senior Ruby on Rails Dev [full-time]

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to collaborate remotely on e-commerce projects. This position involves developing e-commerce systems and platforms for managing sales, resources, and orders. As a part of an international team, you will work with cutting-edge technologies to deliver robust and scalable solutions for our clients in the e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex Ruby on Rails applications, focusing on e-commerce systems.

• Collaborate in international teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Build and optimise solutions for sales management, inventory management, and order tracking.

• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of systems developed.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.

• Strong understanding of Ruby, Rails framework, and associated libraries.

• Comfortable with communicating in English on technical topics, as the projects are conducted in international teams.

• Knowledge of Shopify or prior experience working on e-commerce projects will be considered an asset.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript) and best practices for building responsive e-commerce platforms.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and scalable infrastructure.
