QA Engineer
Location: Trójmiasto/Remote
Role overview:
The QA Engineer plays a key role in the testing of our client’s groundbreaking app in the healthcare industry. Our client is a San Francisco-based start-up focused on inventing a behavior health vital sign using AI and machine learning.
The person will design and develop automated software and system tests and perform manual testing when necessary. They are looking for a candidate that can work independently and function well within a team, and is flexible, self-motivated, curious and passionate about revolutionizing the world of healthcare.

Responsibilities:
- Document test cases which will be used throughout the testing life cycle: end-to-end, cutover/smoke testing and regression testing
- Participate in reviews of test case design, test case coverage and script design with project stakeholders
- Develop test automation scripts
- Execute test scripts, resolve defects, participate in code reviews of authored test cases
- Assist with enhancing the automation test framework by supporting a continuous integration environment with an automated smoke and regression test suite
- Execute, monitor and analyze test results by aligning test case coverage to organization metrics
- Participate in the development of business requirements associated with new product features and updates to existing product features by providing testing-related input
- Track, manage and resolve defects using JIRA
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 1-2 years of software programming and/or QA experience
- Experience in a programming language such as Python or Java
- Knowledge of Regression and Acceptance Testing
- Experience with Node.js development
- Experience with JIRA, Git, Slack
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of Flutter Test development best practices (Unit/Widget/Integration Testing)
- Experience with CodeMagic (CI/CD)
- Experience with test platforms such as Selenium, Espresso, or UI Automation.
- Experience with dev-ops (build and release)-
- Knowledge of front-end web technologies, such as HTML5 and AJAX
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
