As a Project Manager, you’ll support the success of the company’s newest upcoming products. Being a part of our rapidly growing team, you’ll be working on the new product Universal Back Office (our new customer-facing reporting system). You will help design and build a system by managing a team of developers and QAs. You will work closely with Product Managers to scope the design and early iteration of feature requests. What You Will Be Doing
- Hiring and training other engineers to your team.
- Delegate work and assign it to team members.
- Supervising system modifications.
- Guiding team through their technical issues and challenges.
- Establish best practices and processes in the team.
- Research new features, analyze requirements, estimate implementation; design software; code reviews; document solutions.
- Ability to convert business-level requirements into technical specifications.
- Design your own solutions to given problems, taking operational requirements into consideration.
- Consistently write clean, readable code with repeatable high-quality results.
- Assist Quality Assurance Teams in preparing unit tests and checking software deliverables.
- Fully understand the life cycle of product development.
- Communicate technical ideas to a variety of audiences including non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key people in the organization.
- Understand the company's vision, goals and strategy. Actively contribute to the achievement of the goals and execution of the company’s strategy.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in project management.
- Proven history of creating high-quality products from conception to deployment at scale.
- Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Have experience in using Jira, and Confluence, working with roadmaps and doing release planning.
- Experience in working in and adhering to short, agile, iterative development cycles.
- A true team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have experience mentoring, and coaching team members.
- You value working on top-performing teams and strive to continuously improve engineering and team practices.
- Results-oriented with a history of consistently meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and spoken technical English.
- Ability to work with distributed teams and occasional international travel.
