Senior DevOps Engineer

Location : Cracow
Job type: Contract B2B (via G-Force)
$: 70 – 100 PLN net+VAT/h

Project description:

Company is expanding cooperation with existing client and growing the team, which creates solutions for one of the biggest providers of payment, invoice, and document automation systems in the world. We are looking for experienced Senior DevOps Engineer, who will have an opportunity to support SAAS solution. SAAS provides customers with the ability to manage payments to third-party lawyers and law firms. The software allows to take control of legal expenses and improve litigation management process

Responsibilities:

Maintains and creates build and deployment automation scripts
Work with developers and QA engineers to optimize their development and test environments
Responsible for proper running and functionality of the Development and QA test environments
Work with developers, QA and AppOps teams to identify and resolve build or deployment issues
Responsible for maintenance of Source Control systems and Development tools infrastructure
Ensures high-quality build artifacts are packaged and ready for production deployments
Maintains documentation and build/release tracking records consistent with audit requirements
Understanding of scaling applications from developer environments to production

Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in Release Engineering
Strong Unix knowledge
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle & DevOps Practices
Expertise with Source Control systems (Git, etc.)
Expertise with Build tools such as Maven, Jenkins
Experience with Continuous Integration Environments
Strong scripting skills (ruby, shell)
Experience with Apache, Tomcat, Java, Weblogic
Experience with Deployment orchestration tools such as Capistrano, Puppet
Bachelor of Science of equivalent experience
