As Data Lead at Future Mind, you will shape the FM Data Practice and the way our customers see and use data. The role extends from supporting strategic decisions to designing and directing implementation. Build and manage a team of Data Engineers to deliver the solutions you design in close collaboration with your colleagues. Stay ahead of the curve, recognize the latest data trends and technologies, and make them useful for our customers. This job is all about:

  • taking part in developing the strategy for Future Mind and its Data Practice and leading the way to embedding this new business line within our organization, 
  • developing modern data architectures and communicating their advantages to stakeholders and technical expert teams,
  • drawing up complete solutions that seamlessly integrate into the overall strategies and goals of our clients,
  • collaborating on equal terms with various stakeholders, providing visions, technical leadership, and consulting services,
  • continuous education on current software and technology developments, such as Data Lakehouse and Data Mesh,
  • acting as a mentor and guiding team members in best practices,
  • building and managing a team of motivated Data Engineers.


What we’re looking for:

  • professional experience in developing complex solutions as an Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar,
  • experience with cloud services like Azure, GCP, or AWS, and cloud databases,
  • knowledge of latest concepts around data such as data mesh and data fabric,
  • extensive experience in developing analytical solutions such as data warehouse, data lakehouses, data products and similar,
  • experience in data modeling implementation (data vault is seen a plus),
  • knowledge of modern technologies used around data such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt,
  • experience in pre-sales, building technical offerings and presenting them to project sponsors,
  • experience in recruiting and leading engineering teams,
  • very good command of English and Polish, both written and spoken.


Desired soft skills:

  • ability to lead design and development discussions and communicate architectural decisions,
  • excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels,
  • proven leadership skills with a focus on team development,
  • ability to create reliable solution plans in collaboration with business and multidisciplinary teams, including cost estimates and delivery approaches,
  • strategic thinking to analyze customer inquiries and emerging issues in the context of regulations, industry practices, and new technologies, 
  • a strong network of connections with highly skilled professionals and potential future hires in the space of data engineering will be an advantage.
