Job description
We are looking for skilled and experienced DevOps engineer with an interest in integration platforms to join our team in Research & Development department in Fujitsu Poland. The role holder will be responsible for delivering platform for developing and managing API proxies that features a hybrid deployment model. You will work with modern, state-of-the-art microservice architecture application stack combining both cloud and on-prem components in small team with general direction having substantial responsibility and autonomy for planning and delivering your work. Other responsibilities include performing technical investigations, problem-solving and making solution proposals.
Role Purpose:
- Work in semi-autonomous team, using an Agile style, supporting themes/topics in the area with hands-on expertise
- Provide technical documentation on realized modules/products following internal standards
- Create demonstration environments for topics requiring interactive promotion
- Expand and enrich individual technical competencies (professional development)
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE, OpenShift)
- Experient in system integration design, development, testing and implementation. Experience in API gateway solutions (Apigee, Mulesoft, Kong) is more than welcome
- Understanding of application architectural patterns (microservices, cloud native), platforms (Anthos) and cloud concepts
- Experience in any major cloud platform (Google Cloud preferred)
- Proficiency in Linux with scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, bash)
- Good knowledge about virtualization, network, protocols and REST API standard
- Good understanding of SDLC and hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions
- Analytical skills and ability to gather and document requirements
- Certifications in any of above mentioned technologies are nice to have
