JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business intelligence Developer to join our expanding BI & Reporting Team. Reporting to the Technical Manager you will have good commercial experience of full Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence stack including reporting, to support growth and maintain our existing platforms and develop additional solutions. 

Your duties will include:

• Assess business requirements and interpret into a technical solution (data and reporting) 
• Data acquisition and integration 
• Applying ETL processes and data quality checks 
• Creation of views and dashboards 
• Facilitating UAT 
• Following internal peer review and change approval processes 
• Active use of Jira to manage all development 

Essential:

• Experience with developing a Data Warehousing environment 
• Experience working with SQL Server 2016+ Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL 
• Proven ability to take business requirements and build Reports in Power BI 
• Analytical approach to problem solving 
• Identify and make recommendations poorly performing queries 
• Team driven and actively engages with and works alongside colleagues 
• Fluent verbal & written English language 

Desirable:

• 5 years’ experience in data warehouse role 
• Experience migration data warehouses from Non-MS Platforms such as Oracle and SAP 
• Knowledge of the following services and data, Salesforce, Marketo, ServiceNow.
