Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the team & the role

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team, a specialist in process automation and IT infrastructure management. We are looking for someone truly interested in technology, who enjoys developing and optimizing development environments and is always looking for new solutions. If you are ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.

What tasks do we want to assign you?

• Automation of application building, testing and deployment processes.
• Configuration and management of cloud computing infrastructure.
• Monitoring and maintaining high service availability.
• Implementing IT security solutions.
• Implementing the "infrastructure as a code" approach.
• Optimizing the performance and scalability of systems.
• Cooperation with the development team and IT department.
• Implementing DevOps culture in the company.

What’s important for us?  

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Very good knowledge of AWS public cloud (knowledge of Azure cloud will be an added advantage).
• Experience with:

- cost optimization in AWS public cloud,

- IaaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation),

- Ansible automation tools,

- Linux operating systems (FreeBSD will be an advantage),

- preparing custom AMI images,

- advanced configuration of Nginx web server,

- configuration and management of PostgreSQL databases,

- the Bourne shell.

• Knowledge of:

- JIRA and Confluence,

- CI/CD tools (experience with Bitbucket is a plus),

- monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana),

- Git.

• Good knowledge of English.
