For our Client, company from Scandinavia which has a long history of successfully providing broadband solutions to telecom operators and partners all over the world we are looking for:
JAVA Solution Architect
Work in Warsaw
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Java System Architect, you will take the lead in software development team for device management software. The device management software is a server based product for remote mass management of service enabling broadband devices in end user’s homes in the areas of traditional triple play services as well as next generation services in the IoT area.
Candidate will together with our client’s product management team define the product roadmap, be responsible for the system architecture of the product, lead and actively participate in the software development.
Requirements/Experience:
- To be successful in this role you should have at least 10 years of experience from java backend software development in a Linux environment.
- Our client uses frameworks such as JETTY application server, Nginx web server, Hibernate and Spring in the product
- Candidate should be well acquainted with mySQL and MongoDB as data base management is central in the product. Knowledge in data base mining and big data collection is beneficial
- Good knowledge in bash shell scripting, networking, performance optimization, advanced network configurations and Linux is required
- Experience from protocols for device management such as the TR-069 framework, cluster node and high availability solutions is valuable
- Company works with continuous integration, configuration management using subversion and Jenkins test framework
Desired skills:
- Drive, ambition, and decisiveness is highly valued
- Candidate should love working in a team, be a team player and be able to take necessary decisions when so required
- A must is that all communication, in writing and verbally, is conducted and handled fluently in English. All other languages are an advantage
- Master exam in computer science or similar
