Flyps is a high tech software house that has been on the market for 7 years, specializing in projects requiring specialist knowledge: R&D, AI, computer vision and high scalability.

As a software house, we build, among others software for self-propelled robots, biotechnology companies, IoT or data-driven companies. We created the first cashless and maintenance-free stores in Poland, our team was a pioneer in the field of building automation.

We build our internal products (e.g. our social live selling platform) and we serve foreign and Polish clients - including American companies from Fortune 500 and unicorns.

Your first project:

You’ll start the long term R&D project work with the software and hardware team in order to develop an autonomous system that will recognize and pick the right type of fruit in various weather conditions, like rain, wind 24/7.  

The implemented solution will also be able to not damage the fruits while picking and storing which is quite a problem in other similar solutions.

Scope of tasks:

• Planning and coordination of IT projects
• Organization and ongoing monitoring of each stage of ongoing projects
• Initiating and implementing improvements in current processes and projects
• Work coordination and daily planning, monitoring and settlement of team members' work
• Focusing on finding solutions and achieving goals in accordance with the scope and schedule
• Conducting project meetings
• Work on internal and external projects
• Ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Team support

Requirements:

• Experience in leading a long term project related with Computer vision systems, AI, ML or Robotics
• Accurate creation and management of technical documentation for the settlement of grant projects
• min. 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Ability to analyze customer requirements from a technical and business perspective
• Excellent analyze and time management skills for yourself and your team
• Ability to identify and solve problems and conflict situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions based on a available data
• Open mind, willingness to acquire knowledge and take the initiative
