Fullstack Web Developer
We're an early stage start-up (our website is not online yet) developing an application for language learning using Japanese comic books and our unique teaching method. We're looking for a person to help us develop and improve the product.
At this moment our team consist just of one of not technical person and one technical person, but it will be growing with time. That is why it is important for us that a candidate will be able to find himself/herself in a rapidly changing, uncertain environment and at the same time enjoy working on a project, in which he/she would have a lot if impact on the final effect.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing medium to large-sized editor features or improvements using React framework. Examples include advanced content tagging plugin, find & replace feature, unique interface components.
If you are confident of your skills or ability to learn fast, you are welcome to apply even if you don't have many years of experience working in the industry.
We need somebody who would be able to help us only 2 -3 months.

Requirements:
- Experience with or confidence to learn TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node
- Decent English level (min. B2 since you'll need to communicate mostly in English during work)
- Comfort adapting to new tools by reading existing code or searching online
- Ability to write well-structured and readable code
- Can find and solve problems independently
- Ability to translate business language to technology and vice versa
Nice to have:
- Interest in Japanese language and/or manga
