Job description
Your day-to-day challenges:
- Working on one of the most innovative risk models in the fintech industry
- Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to predict various business outcomes
- Data wrangling and building mathematical models for practical applications
- Automating parts of our feature engineering pipeline
- Researching new methodologies to improve our model building pipeline
- Close co-operation with data engineering and business units
Your skills Include:
- 3+ years of working experience in data science, machine learning or statistics
- Good understanding of probability and statistics
- Solid knowledge about data structures and algorithms
- Expert knowledge in Python, specifically pandas and scikit-learn
- Familiarity with standard ML techniques (e.g. logistic regression, SVMs, boosted trees, NN)
- Curiosity to learn more about business topics, specifically finance
Bonus points:
- Degree in a quantitative subject
- Readiness to go an extra mile
- Working proficiency in Polish
- Experience with ETL processes and building microservices
- Risk management and Fintech background
