Senior Python Developer

We are an international company of 100+ employees created by IT engineers. Not being an outsourcer in the usual sense of the word, we specialize in creating niche software for large international banks and investment funds. As part of our development, we’d like to establish new teams in Poland.

We are seeking a senior Python developer to assist with the development of a cloud based suite of calculators used for generating various accounting metrics such as: income, yield, and book value. It includes a creation of efficient and robust python modules that will be invoked from various Lambda entry points.

We are currently in the midst of migrating our amortization calculations from running on prem/native to a serverless cloud solution running on AWS platform (in Python).

Most of the work will consist of enhancing/creating modules that can be run and tested locally, and hence cloud experience, though nice to have, is not critical.

What is required from you:

• Solid experience as a Python application developer for large/medium scale projects (+ numpy, pandas nice to have)
• 5+ years of experience
• Familiarity with standard Design Patterns
• Experience working on a cloud platform
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience working with container technology such as Docker
• Background in fixed income finance will be very helpful
