Job description

We are Poznan based outsourcing company developing three major divisions: Web Development, SAP Consulting Services and Financial Shared Services Center. Currently we are seeking two experienced PHP developers to work on an e-commerce project for one of the leading German providers of electronic equipment. You should definitely join us, if you like playing FIFA or you are a fan of a table football. Well, there are plenty of other reasons too :)

You will:

  • Develop complex web-based solutions
  • Write clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
  • Maintain existing code and adding new features
  • Cooperate with other team members: developer, tester and an agile business analyst

Qualifications:

  • PHP development experience
  • Practical knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms
  • Understanding of GIT version control
  • Experience with Web Services and API’s – REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
  • Experience in unit testing (e.g. PHPUint)
  • Good understanding and experience with architectural patterns (preferred MVC)
  • Understanding of good programming practices and principles (SOLID) 
  • Ability to easily communicate and express thoughts/ideas in English
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

  • Basic front-end skills: JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS3
  • Practical knowledge of at least one PHP framework (Zend Framework, Symfony 2 or other)
  • Experience with SMARTY templates
