We are looking for experienced multi skilled Technical Support Specialist, to join a new support team leading international provider of IT Services. You will join a team working on an exciting new R&D integration project. Additionally you will have possibility to build successful career path.
Main Duties:
- Work as part of a larger Support Team and engaging with the development and platform support teams.
- Participate in escalation and incident management as the need arises.
- Participate in change management.
- Provide support of a Hadoop platform and Linux Operating system.
- Participate in patching and Move to Production activates.
We require:
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- 1+ years experience on similar position.
- Experience working in Linux servers and platform optimization.
- Experience in database administration.
- Willingness to work with Big Data.
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience with various enterprise platforms, performance tuning and application performance optimizations.
- Knowledge of Big Data Technologies, especially Hadoop.
- Knowledge of Hortonworks (Hadoop Distributed File System).
