XSOAR Content Development Lead

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Developer with substantial experience in creating content and leading content development on Palo Alto's Demisto XSOAR platform. This pivotal role calls for not only a deep understanding of the XSOAR platform but also the ability to lead our team in developing premier automation content. If you are adept in Python, REST API, have substantial experience with Palo Alto tools, and are driven by leadership roles in cybersecurity, then this position promises challenging and rewarding ventures.

• Champion the team of developers and cybersecurity aficionados in crafting, refining, and sustaining top tier content for the Palo Alto Demisto XSOAR platform, encompassing automation scripts, integrations, and playbooks.
• Deploy your advanced proficiency in Python and REST API to build and enhance solutions that are tailored for precise threat detection, response, and remediation within the XSOAR ecosystem.
• Maintain a cutting-edge position in cybersecurity, tapping into emerging trends, tools, and strategies to birth innovative content that stays a step ahead of modern threats.
• Foster deep relationships with stakeholders, grasping their unique needs, and molding the XSOAR content to offer solutions that seamlessly fit their cybersecurity matrix.
• Pilot the debugging and troubleshooting frontier, identifying bottlenecks in existing content, and ushering in improvements that boost functionality, performance, and user immersion.
• Supervise the creation of in-depth documentation and training modules, ensuring our clientele can effortlessly onboard and extract the maximum value from the XSOAR content.

Core Competencies:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading SOAR teams at the enterprise level, with a strong background in security automation and orchestration.
• Design & Deployment: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Palo Alto XSOAR solutions tailored to enterprise clients' security automation and orchestration needs.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with enterprise clients to assess their security workflows, translating requirements into custom playbooks and automations using XSOAR.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor and optimize XSOAR deployments to ensure maximum efficiency, timely updates, and adapt to evolving threat landscapes.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver hands-on training sessions to clients on XSOAR usage, provide comprehensive documentation, and share best practices in security orchestration.
• Stay Updated: Maintain expertise in the latest features and capabilities of Palo Alto XSOAR, ensuring solutions leverage the most advanced functionalities and integrations.
• A veteran's grasp on cybersecurity dynamics, fortified with a specialized focus on Palo Alto's suite of tools and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of automation principles and methodologies, especially within the XSOAR landscape.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, paired with meticulous attention to detail.

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an allied domain. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree accompanied by extensive industry immersion are also welcome. However, hands-on experience in the field can be leveraged in lieu of a formal university degree.
• Over 5 years in the trenches of software development, with Python as the primary weapon of choice.
• A deep-rooted understanding of cybersecurity ethos, tools, and paradigms.
• A minimum 5-year experience with Palo Alto's Demisto XSOAR platform or similar SOAR paradigms, showcased by tangible achievements and innovations.
