We are seeking a talented and motivated Scala Developer to join dynamic software development team in Large media company in the Netherlands and Belgium . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional programming and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using Scala and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Utilize functional programming techniques to build robust and scalable solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests to ensure software quality and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to improve code quality and team efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scala Developer, with a strong understanding of Scala and its ecosystem.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with popular Scala frameworks and libraries, such as Cats
• Functional programming, AKKA,
• Streaming and reacting system,
• AWS
• English language: B2/C1
