QA Specialist (Retail Marketing / eCommerce)

Role Overview

This role focuses on data validation within retail and eCommerce environments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of key data flows from database to product detail pages (PDP). The position operates within a data-centric QA model supported by AI-based data capture and crawling, without covering full UI or end-to-end functional testing

Responsibilities

• Validate accuracy of retail data flows from database to PDP

• Perform QA on data sourcing, normalization, cleansing, and structuring processes

• Prepare and verify QA-ready datasets for downstream consumption

• Conduct targeted validation and anomaly detection across retail datasets

• Analyze outputs from AI-based data capture and crawling solutions

• Work with retail and eRetail data sources including APIs, platforms, and external partners

• Apply insights from retail intelligence tools such as Similarweb and Stackline

• Document QA processes, validation logic, and findings

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in eCommerce / Retail Marketing environments

• Hands-on experience in data acquisition, sourcing, and cleansing within retail or eRetail domains

• Strong understanding of data normalization and preparation for QA processes

• Practical experience with Similarweb, Stackline, or comparable retail intelligence platforms

• Ability to clearly explain how tools and data were used in real-life scenarios

• Experience working with API-, platform-based, or partner-provided datasets

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in anomaly detection

• Understanding of data validation-focused QA approaches (e.g. validating data flows from backend/DB to frontend), rather than traditional UI or end-to-end testing
