Data Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Data Analyst with banking experience and ideally worked within the EU Regulatory space and understands how to build simpler and automated reporting solutions.

Required Experience: 5+ years in total, 2+ in Regulatory reporting

Technology Stack:  Microsoft tools, SQL, Python and Tableau

The key responsibilities of this role:

• Engaging in and supporting the Pan Finance Work Reception Process.
• This is a high profile position with a wide exposure to areas both inside and
• outside of Finance.
• Leading on the timely completion of Subject Matter Expert (SME) driven impact assessments associated with work requests, allowing for projects to be allocated a Finance resource, which will in-turn enable on-time delivery and completion of projects.
• Upward reporting to senior management on delivery status.
• Assisting in maintaining the Work Reception process Kanban board, and actively monitoring progression of items throughout the board.
• Help to actively improve the existing work reception process and to develop it into a robust, user friendly experience for both Requestors and SMEs alike.
• Understand our business, customers, strategic goals and how the teams operates in order to support the realization of Bank-wide project outcomes.
• Work in continuous close collaboration with the business and the project team ensuring transparency of vision and requirements.

What are the skills, knowledge and experience needed to do the role?

• Experienced in implementing process and system change for Finance, including strong Finance data and process analysis skills, problem solving, IT change management experience, system testing, defect resolution, and participating in data and trade migrations and system go lives, plus post implementation support. 
• Requires interpersonal communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
• Strong knowledge of Data Sourcing techniques and how the data feeds into Regulatory Reporting requirements
• Understanding of Regulatory requirements for ESG
• Knowledge and awareness of industry norms, terminology, legislation, best practices and developments.
• Understanding of projects, project lifecycle, project roles, ability to work in teams, but also to take ownership of tasks and deliverable, and take individual accountability.
