    Your role at Exness:

    You will join the Internal Products Development team within our Information Technology division, focusing on developing our internal products. You will lead a highly skilled team to develop high-load solutions and ensure that the developed products meet the business requirements.


    This position will be located on-site (hybrid) in our Cyprus offices.


    You will:

    • Deliver stable, fault-tolerant, and scalable solutions through an evolutionary approach.
    • Participate in analysis, quality assurance, and control of all development phases.
    • Drive the assessment and implementation of technologies and tools in the team.
    • Lead team decision-making on technology-related issues.
    • Manage the analysis and resolution of incidents and implement changes to prevent future incidents.
    • Define technical (analysis, development, and QA) and product development standards with the team.
    • At times, independently resolve issues, monitor and analyze technical metrics to identify adverse trends and proactively resolve potential issues.
    • Participate in quarterly planning and reporting, including resource allocation and team progress reports for various time periods.
    • Interact with the head of software development and other team leaders to identify interconnections between products and build an appropriate compatible architecture.
    • Lead the team in line with existing policies and procedures: hire new members, review team performance, support the achievement of consistent results, and be responsible for other management tasks.
    • Together with the Learning and Development department and HR business partners, develop and mentor all team members, helping them to improve their performance and achieve the best possible results.
    • Take a product approach to building the team's backlog.
    • Drive team motivation and inspire your colleagues to perform at their best.


    What makes you a great fit:

    • Minimum of 6 years of backend software development experience building backend services, ideally with a focus on Python
    • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience as a team lead or manager
    • Proven track record of building efficient teams, including hiring, performance management, and development
    • Good knowledge of different development processes, methodologies, and frameworks such as waterfall or agile
    • Broad technical outlook and deep understanding of modern software development and high-load projects
    • Experience in building fault-tolerant software systems
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to use advanced English for various work and business purposes
