For our Scandinavian client from automotive industry, we realize a recruitment process on the position Scrum Master / IT Project Manager.


About the project:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to take part in global electromobility projects – Scrum Master for Electric Range Simulator (ERS) app!

We have diverse IT competences in our ERS team and we need a professional who can support ERS team in agile ways of working. You as Scrum Master will be heavily involved in growing electromobility IT services, which are at the core of the company strategy to build more sustainable and fossil free future.

Due to the complexity of the assignment we are looking for a experienced Scrum Master who is eager to join us permanently and will support us with his/her experience in building and maintaining high performing agile teams. 

In addition, it would be perfect if the person in this position would also be able to perform some of the duties of a Project Manager (roadmap review, tactical steerco meetings, etc.), however, experience as a Project Manager is not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups 
  • Ensure the teams adheres to its processes (and all that entails in terms of artifacts and meetings) 
  • Play a consultative role to put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools, to improve team efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Actively contribute to creation of improvements in, tools and guidelines 
  • Mentor to transfer Agile knowledge and experience to the team. Teach to ensure Scrum and other relevant methods are understood and enacted
  • Solve blocking issues to the team's progress, considering the self-organizing capabilities of the Development Team 
  • Aim for early deliveries using the MVP (and other) principles and a reduced time to market implementation strategy, adding business value as a primary objective 
  • Co-operate with all stakeholders to define vision, business value/business case, scope, project objectives, requirements and deliverables for the Products 
  • Plan and manage activities related to Change Management, communication, organizational changes, competence, and training requirements 
  • Coach members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency 

An ideal candidate profile:
  • Experience in a scrum master role (min 3 years in role) 
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Scrum master certification is a plus
