    As Head of IAM Operations you will be responsible for the IAM Ops. team overseeing the daily operations of the IAM systems and services, ensuring that they are running smoothly and securely. The IAM operations team, which consists of engineers, Operations Specialists, and specialists who monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to IAM incl. AD, PKI, DNS, DHCP and Entra ID. The Operations team will collaborate closely with the Identity Access Management and Security Access management Product team and Product Owner working on architecture and DevOps. 

    Some of the main responsibilities of an operations manager for IAM Operations team are:

    • Daily management of the IAM Ops team incl. on-call duty planning, monitoring and resource allocation
    • Ensuring fast resolution of major and critical incidents, with root cause analysis and mitigating actions taken to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Planning and executing the IAM operations development, roadmap, and budget together with the Identity Access Management and Security Access management Product Owner.
    • Work with ServiceNow data to monitor and improve performance metrics.
    • Ensuring compliance with IAM policies, standards, and best practices.
    • Leading the IAM operations team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation with support from the People leader of Identity Access Management and Security Access Management
    • Coordinating with other teams and stakeholders, such as Network Operations, security and auditors to ensure Operational Excellence
    • Identifying and implementing other IAM operations tools, processes, and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    An operations manager for IAM Operations team should have the following skills and qualifications:

    • A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • At least 7 years of experience in IAM operations, or a similar role, in a large and complex organization.
    • Experience working with IAM Oeprations and On-call services
    • At least 3 years of management and leadership experience preferably including managing on-call team
    • Some knowledge of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, such as identity lifecycle management, access management, authentication, authorization, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, etc.
    • Proficient in IAM operations tools, such as IAM platforms, directories, databases, monitoring systems, ticketing systems, etc.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Proficient in verbal and written English
    • Certifications in ITIL and IAM such as CIAM, CISM, CISSP, etc., are preferred.
    • Experience from a regulated industry like pharma or banking is a plus.
