For our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we realize a recruitment process on the position Lead Data.


Project Description:

Working on various workstreams to establish and stabilize data and governance model to assured smooth operations of International Operations Incentives and Compensation Enterprise. The role includes full responsibilities for managing data deliverable and project-related stakeholders.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines to support data integration, transformation and loading for Sales, Marketing and HR related databases in the field of Incentives Compensation
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse, data lakes and the other data storage systems to ensure availability, integrity and security of data
  • Implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency
  • Cooperating with the other team members in case of commercial excellence, DDI analysts end so on to understand their needs and develop solutions according to their needs
  • Monitoring data pipelines and systems to identify and resolve issues as well improve optimization of performance
  • Communicating with the non-technical stakeholders to inform them about the technical solutions as well working on documentation
  • Stay up to date with the technologies and trends in the field of data engineering as well evaluating it for potential usage within the organisation

 

An ideal candidate profile:

  • Having higher education level within IT or similar engineering fields ale preferred
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience with focus on Pharmaceutical industry or Life Sciences Technology Consulting
  • Hands-on experience with managing data projects or similar
  • Knowledge of SQL, DB technologies as well data warehousing and ETL tools
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles and being familiar with governance best practices
  • Effective project management and problem solving skills
  • Very good English skills in written and speaking - international/global

 

 

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Commercial Effectiveness and Business functions or relevant data sets like CRM and Sales is a plus
