Job description
Main responsibilities:
- Main dialogue with service provider
- Handling stakeholders
- Dialogue with the business on needs and demands
- Maintain AD roadmap
- Participate in technical projects and project visitation
- Define processes and facilitate AD House keeping
- Enforce security and access policies via Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across all domains.
- Integrate domain controllers and other domain services with existing security and incident management tools to provide an overall security posture and threat matrix.
- Plan and execute Active Directory Domain level upgrades.
- Facilitate and enforce technical documentation and operating procedures as needed.
- Oversee the architecture and design of the global backup and recovery of Active Directory.
- Collaborate and communicates with architects with internal departments and vendor partners.
- Facilitate root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents and coordinates implementation.
An ideal candidate profile:
- Experience with Active Directory Migration and consolidation projects.
- Project experience migrating users, computers and applications across Active Directory domains.
- Experience with AD Design & Implementation in inter-forest and intra-forest trust relationship maintenance, documentation of architecture summaries.
- Experienced Product owner
- Experience with Compliance and security
- Good understanding of AD sites, Subnets, Replication.
- Good understanding on Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, Routing & Subnets.
- Good understanding of ITIL (Change Management, Service Management, Incident Management)
- Good understanding with Distributed File System (DFS) maintenance and design
- Good understanding of monitoring system reliability and availability
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure AD
- Good understanding on AD Promotion/Decommission process and procedures, Group Policy, AD FSMO roles and seizing roles, User account Management, Back Up and restore management of AD objects and auditing.
