We are looking for a Software Engineer to work with our cloud-based microservices casino platform!
We thrive in well-designed, scalable, systems that use modern approaches that result in solutions that are easy to build and maintain. The systems mainly use a modern, effective Scala and Java-based technology stack, delivering reliable and high-throughput transaction processing.
Requirements:
- Be proactive, pragmatic, and professional, deliver results;
- Write code that makes our games and related functionality run;
- Work and communicate efficiently with the rest of the development team, including PO, front-end developers, and designers;
- Actively participate in code reviews so that code delivered by you and your team is of great quality;
- Own your applications, ensure they deploy and run 24/7 with great performance;
- Write unit and other automated tests;
- Be ready to invest the effort to become an even better developer.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building and delivering robust scalable software using modern Java;
- Passion for our profession, modern and pragmatic software development, and improving yourself technically;
- Highly self-driven, responsible, and keen to learn to become an even better developer;
- Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving;
- Our working language is English, so we require proficiency in spoken and written English (B1+);
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent industry experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Spring and JPA / Hibernate;
- Experience and interest in modern programming trends such as functional and reactive programming and event sourcing;
- Interest in learning functional programming using Scala;
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka.
