Job Description

We are now looking for another Information Manager to join our team in Warsaw!

Information Managers work closely with the development teams creating video slots, which means they are involved in the game design and development process. This position is fun, challenging and creative.


What’s the deal?

Information Managers at Evolution develop written materials for company’s products and manage their localization. You need to have a combination of strong communication skills and multimedia knowledge to deliver a variety of materials that cover a broad variety of user needs, i.e. game rules, UI texts, product and release documentation as well as promotional materials.


Who are you? 

To be an ideal candidate, your background should include a university degree in linguistics or creative writing as well as 2+ years of experience with a software development organization as a technical writer, copywriter, localization manager, or quality assurance specialist. Regardless of your background, your profile should include:

  • High proficiency in English, both written and verbal, paired with skills in clear and effective communication;
  • A strong ability to conform to an established writing tone, voice and style;
  • Experience in technical writing, copy writing, content writing or other form of publication in which you have demonstrated your command of written English.

As a plus:

  • Localization management experience, familiarity with TMS, CAT and LQA tools.
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, XML/HTML, Confluence.
  • Experience in working with Git.

Your main tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Explain technically complex concepts in clear, concise English that can be understood by an average or non-native reader of English;
  • Prepare and manage localization of projects as needed;
  • Be an active member of cross-competence teams during the game maintenance, uphold relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization;
  • Participate in peer reviews;
  • Acquire and maintain expertise in tools required to produce our materials;
  • Act as a user advocate to deliver materials that enhance the user experience;
  • Follow all internal standards, processes, and templates to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables.
