Job description
EVERSIS is a technology company with an established position on the market of IT services in Poland. One of our main specializations is the production of custom software. We create solutions for companies and institutions such as: European Space Agency, Airbus Defense and Space, National Bank of Poland or T-mobile. Due to our dynamic development, we are looking for candidates for the position of Junior Engineer DevOps.
The person employed in this position will be mainly responsible for:
- Support and maintenance of applications with complex architecture - mainly in the Linux environment and applications based on Java technology
- Automation of processes related to the implementation and maintenance of applications
- Direct cooperation with software development and testing teams
- Detecting, analyzing and repairing complex IT problems
- Optimization and scaling of web applications
- Monitoring and implementation of system and application monitoring
- Creating technical documentation
- Jira management
We expect from the candidates for this position:
- Good knowledge of the Linux system (Centos)
- Communication skills and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of English on a communicative level (B2/C1)
- Openness to continuous development and the desire to learn new technologies
- Basic knowledge of network issues
- Higher education (in the field of IT, telecommunications, electronics or related) or students of last years of IT studies and in this case, there is a possibility to work not full-time.
Welcome:
- Knowledge of containers and application servers (Apache Tomcat, Jboss, IIS) working in a cluster
- Knowledge of web servers (Nginx, Apache HTTP Server)
- Knowledge of tools supporting Continuous Integration processes (Jenkins, Sonar)
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions (Nagios, Munin, Zabbix)
- Knowledge of virtualization issues (VMWare ESXi)
- Knowledge of database servers, relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (Elasticsearch, Cassandra)
- Knowledge of the Git version control system
- Ability to create scripts in Python, Bash and PowerShell
- Experience with Docker, Ansible tools
