For one of our clients we are looking a Shopify Developer, SENIOR level.
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Shopify Platform store landscape.
- Manage and enhance our existing website experiences with Shopify Liquid and headless CMS.
- Develop and optimize our Shopify themes.
- Implement new UI designs in HTML/CSS/JS based on mock-up PSD / Sketch files supplied by a designer.
- Integrating third-party and platform partner apps.
- Able to code and deploy applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment, with a focus on mobile site experience and responsive design.
- Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites with support from the regional teams.
- Work closely with Conversions & Campaigns teams to create in-the-moment marketing, UX and promotional campaigns and site enhancements (landing pages, popups, gamification, lead gen forms, etc.) to increase conversion and revenue.
- Work with version control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Thoroughly QA work prior to submission; manage the QA and deployment process with regional Tech.
- Adhere to high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure and operations.
- Troubleshoot and solve bugs as they come up, and to identify areas for site improvement.
Is this you?
- Relevant Degree qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Shopify Websites Development.
- Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language.
- Knowledge in Shopify development systems like Polaris, Theme Kit.
- An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- An expertise in JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery).
- A proficiency in working with different Shopify APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc.)
- Experience deploying web analytics and tags for Google Analytics, Tag Manager & Optimize.
- A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues & responsive web design best practices.
- Understanding of Bitbucket.
- Understanding of basics of SEO and its implementation for Shopify sites.
- Experience working with JIRA and project management tools like Trello.
- Willingness to work in non-standard polish working hours
