Senior Test Engineer

Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)

Job Summary: 

You will be part of EasyWay Reporting team which is responsible to deliver and maintain a coherent and reliable reporting solutions to our clients. 

As a Test Coordinator:

• You will be single point of contact for the project teams to help with planning and monitoring of the progress of the projects
• You will help with estimating testing effort and contribute to sprint and project planning
• You will contribute to preparing HLTD document (High Level Testing and Deployment Strategy)
• You will contribute or lead a preparation of test reports
• You will coordinate testing activities within a team of 4-5 testers

As a Test Engineer:

• You will be involved in the execution of testing strategies to ensure software applications meet design specifications and functions correctly across various applications
• You will collaborate with squad team members to understand software requirements, develop detailed test plans and test cases. Identify and prepare the test data. 
• You will be involved in Test Execution and Reporting:  
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results 
• Report bugs and errors to the development teams 
• Conduct Pre and Post release testing
• Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• You will be involved in Automated Testing: 
• Develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools (like Selenium) 
• Integrate automated testing into the build process
• You will be responsible for overall Quality Assurance: 
• Ensure that all aspects of software quality are considered including functionality, performance, security, and usability
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
• Document test execution and defects logs
• Prepare proper evidence of test execution

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related fields 
• Proven experience as a Senior Test Engineer / Test Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of various QA tools (like Azure devops, Jira, Selenium, etc..) and testing methodologies
• Experience in working in a complex environment with a complex solution and architecture (multiple environments, technologies)
• Experience with automated testing (including rollout of the automated testing)
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills 
• Ability to work in fast paced, team oriented environment
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies (and mix of them)
• SQL knowledge to build and execute DB queries is an advantage
